Grief Support
I have been certified since 2012 to practice the Grief Recovery Institute's evidence-based method of guiding clients through a grief recovery process. I started with them as a client to work through my own grief episodes and later decided to become a certified specialist to work with others.
Legacy Writing Workshops
& Private Sessions
I will conduct sessions on:
• Legacy letter writing
• 'Selfie' obituary writing or how to write obits for others.
• How to conduct oral history interviews, including trauma-informed interviews
• Sessions conducted for groups or one-on-one, in person or via Zoom.
Wellness & Expressive Writing workshops
I will meet with groups or individuals in private sessions to teach mood-stabilizing writing workshops for well-being. I can use my standard workshops or customize sessions to meet my client's particular needs. Sessions include:
• Writing to Develop Emotional Intelligence
• Writing to Manage Grief
• Poetic approaches to writing for wellness
• Writing to Manage Race-based Stress

Family Scribes Game Leader
& Storytelling Guide
Allow me to lead the legacy games at your next reunion or family gathering--drawing from the activities in my book "Family Scribes: Writing Memories from your Family Tree!" I will lead the games in person or via Zoom.
